Welcome to the South Notts Football association website.
A new season starts again! We currently run competitions from Y7 to Y13 for boys and Y8, Y9 Y10 girls competitions.
The girls competitions are 9 aside for the Y8 and Y9 teams.
Please try and get the fixtures played within the deadlines set and send the results in.
We have managed to gain some help with the organisation the competitions this year, many thanks to Amelia and Dom from Toothill School.
If any one wants to help with the organisation of the Association such as coordinating a competition, up dating the website or just helping out at the finals, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
All the best for the season

News about the Forest Vase and Bowl 2018
NOTTINGHAM FOREST SCHOOLS’ COMPETITIONS 2018-2019 TO : All Secondary Schools In the Nottingham and South Notts Associations Dear Colleagues, An e.mail was sent to all Secondary schools in Nottingham and South Notts in early July imparting the information that two of the three members of the Committee responsible for the organisation of the Forest Bowl and Vase had submitted their resignations at that time and asking for volunteers who might be willing to take over. As the Secretary of that Committee, I received one e.mail asking what the role involved and, having replied at length, I heard no further from that source. Because there is no Organising Committee and it is now too late for the event to be completed within the time frame for 2018-2019, it has been decided not to run the Bowl and Vase competitions this season On a positive note, hopefully this is not the end of the two competitions as discussions will be taking place during this season with an interested party aimed at re-starting them in the 2019-2020 season. Yours sincerely, Mike Simmonds Nottinghamshire Schools’ F.A. (Secretary) Phil Brown Nottingham Schools’ F.A. Richard Bateman South Notts Schools’ F.A. (Organising Committee in recent years).

Dear All
It saddens me to have pass on the news that South Notts Football Association will not be running any representative teams for now on. There are many factors due to this decision which include the decreasing support and standard of players that make the teams competitive, the lack of local fixtures and therefore the impact of travelling long distances to play and the conflict with Saturday afternoon teams and the decreasing amount of people prepared to give up their time to run these teams. The Association has been very successful in the running of these representative teams and won the many of the leagues and cups including the National cup. We have informed the City School Football Association about our decision and I will inform you if they want to use our players and allow them to attend their trials. Our cup competitions will continue to run per normal and I will endeavour to get the draws out before the end of term. We are also now on twitter and can be followed @ South Notts Football
